New SMD 160020 switches even higher currents. Growth for the SMD product family

– We already manufacture fuses in a compact, easily automatically mountable SMD design for a whole range of requirements.

– The spectrum ranges from the smallest chip-type elements (1 x 0.5 mm) and various SMD block fuses to cylindrical designs that can also be installed using the SMD process.

– The focus of development is the design of fuse types that are designed for high rated currents, switch high short-circuit currents and still have very compact dimensions.

– We also offer a whole range of SMD fuses with SMD clips, so that these fuses can also be replaced without soldering if necessary.

160020: Up to 8 amps, up to 1500 volts

– Up to now, large rated currents above 8 A with a high switching capacity have usually only been feasible using fuses with a classic cylinder design. This means a lot of assembly work, the fuses have to be assembled and used by hand.

– Our new SMD continues the innovations at SIBA, with which we pack switching capacities of up to 1500 A and large rated currents in small designs.

– The new SMD is designed for rated currents from 8 to 20 A and still not longer than 20 mm. It can be used for rated voltages up to 250 V.
